Reports to: Founder/Director
Location: Preferred: Headquarters, Brookfield, CT, or could work from anywhere.
Job Purpose: Serve Finishers Project users within the bounds of the vision, mission and core values.
Location. This could be anywhere, but locating in Western CT would be ideal.
Those that visit the Finishers Project website often simply need someone to assist them in processing their promptings from the Lord. About one in twenty that have visited the website have transitioned into missions. The purpose of this initiative is to increase the five percent conversion rate through one to one interaction by phone and email.
Salary Range: Provides or raises own support. Salary and housing allowance as negotiated.
Position Summary:
Key Responsibilities:
Plan, develop and implement strategy for a kingdom-minded, ministry neutral career mentoring of individual “customers”.
Manage the recruiting and selection of a network of nationwide counselors that are willing to make a few calls a week. Initially this is likely to be a male and female in the East, Central and Western parts of the US.
Manage counseling network of kingdom-minded counselors interested in serving for a good kingdom result first. Each in the network will be allowed to harvest clients or pass them up to the STEP 3 and STEP 4 sections of the FP website.
Develop network of counselors through regular communication, reading common books and gathering periodically, etc.
Develop metrics to measure and increase effectiveness of this “Next Step” career counseling initiative.
Get to know the vision and needs of the FP ministry partners to assist people more effectively.
Travel as necessary to build networking relationships vital to the vision of the FP.
Person Profile:
Self-starter, results orientated with a positive outlook, a clear focus on serving FP users with surprising excellence, quality and integrity. Must be excellent telephone and email communicator. Must have clear-thinking communication style, able to see things from the other person’s point of view. Reliable, tolerant, flexible, always thinking and acting for what is best for the customer.
Essential Job Requirements:
EDUCATION – College graduate in any field.
EXPERIENCE – Accomplishments and track record in leadership and a field of counseling/coaching.
Ability to lead, not buy command directive, but by promoting compelling ideas
REQUIREMENTS – Excellent leadership and communication skills.
Initially work alongside founder/director to operate and improve the user service of the FP.
Spiritually mature, self-feeder.
PREFERENCES – Prior missions/ministry experience with a good command of scripture in fact and synthesis.
Comfortable in public speaking roles, not needed, but a plus.
Well read in current books in career guidance and discipleship.
PHYSICAL - Ability to travel, a plus. Willing to travel to FP headquarters or Leadership Team meetings.
